Mental Health

RUNNING FREE MENTAL HEALTH INITIATIVE

The “Running Free” Mental Health Initiative is aimed at providing free counseling and therapy sessions to young Kenyan boys and girls in schools where students do not have access to a licensed therapist or counselor on school staff. This initiative will also offer individual therapy sessions on a case-by-case basis.

Kelly W. Davis Running International Foundation is partnering with Satir Marriage and Family Institute of Africa to fulfill this initiative. The therapy sessions will be conducted by exceptional, hand-picked student interns that are currently pursuing their Master’s and/or Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Psychology at Pan African Christian University and United States International University Africa.
